Good selection. we are blessed in Bristol with alcoholic drinks! (and kombucha 😉). I’ve put the Portugese anniversary thing in my diary for next year great tip 👍

I stumbled across it but it looked as if everyone was having a blast. So do!

It’s great to have a short list of places to check out the next time I’m back in this part of the world. I wonder if you know of any places closer to Frome or Bruton?

Not really my neck of the woods though there are some good ones in Bath, Corkage and the Beckford Bottle Shop being two.

The Beckford bottle shop is also known to me! While the following is not a wine shop but, in the spirit of your post about living blurred lines, Meg will know about Rye Bakery down by Frome train station where they partnered with a local wine shop to provide a very nicely curated (and large) selection of wine (mostly skin contact and biodynamic, to memory) for their pizza nights. Meg, have you been during those music and pizza evenings?

We also have the excellent winery Saddle Goose here, which has somewhat recently moved into the station bit. And The Stores in town is good too.

This made me miss Bristol where I lived for over 20 years. The city of conviviality with a conscience and a sense of fun. Thank you.
